We are fairly sure that the photos in this Gallery are all from the Willimantic/Windham area. If you can help us identify any of the locations, structures or people, please let me know. (E:MAIL - pete@threadcity.com)

A reader's question.....Picture submitted by: Gloria Peterson -" I am trying to find out where this picture was taken. It looks like Columbia. This picture has a date on it of August 9, 1931. If anyone knows can you please confirm the area. I am working on a family scrapbook." Art W. Hall, Jr. wrote, "this is hairpin curve on route 2 Mohawk Trail a little east of North Adams, MA. Art sent a picture taken years earlier and it is the next one in our gallery.

Finally.....an answer....the Mohawk TrailArt Hall sent us this photo from a double wide post card he got near there several years ago. It was taken in 1917. It appears to solve a mystery that has been lingering here on the site for several years. It's not Windham/Willimantic but we'll leave it here since it answers a viewer's question.

Pic of the Week - October 18, 2012Does anyone have any information on the identity of the gentleman in this week’s photo. We originally had some handwritten notes given to us by Mrs. Lucy Bartlett Crosbie but have misplaced them. Help solve a local mystery. Share your thoughts on our Forum.
